¿Quién es Un Museo para Mí?
‘A Museum for Me’ is an international research impact project, led by the University of Liverpool and supported by UKRI GCRF funding. It takes findings from the AHRC-funded research project ‘Memory, Victims, and Representations of the Colombian Conflict’ (led by Prof. Claire Taylor), and moves on to facilitating cultural projects that can make a positive impact on the memory and representation of victims of the Colombian conflict. Therefore, community counterparts in the UK and Colombia play a central role in ‘A Museum for Me’. For example, in the UK, Mujer Diáspora / Diaspora Women, the grassroots network that successfully campaigned for the inclusion of testimony from exiles and migrants, in the Colombian Truth Commission, has facilitated much of the content of our Virtual Museum.
